DAY TWO: General Assembly to vote on Gaza resolution as emergency meeting continues

The United Nations General Assembly is moving towards a vote on the Israel-Palestine crisis later on Friday as an emergency sesssion continues amid deadlock in the Security Council and with conditions in the besieged enclave of Gaza growing increasingly dire.
